Next: vs Eagles. Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh Steelers. 4. player. 55.

The Pittsburgh Steelers got off to a rough start last year, lost their starting quarterback, and would have made it to the playoffs if the expansion had gone into effect last year. They did all of that with a guy named Duck Hodges as their quarterback, but the defense was to thank and is the reason they’re a threat to win it all this year.

So far, the Steelers have handled the Giants, Broncos, and Texans, blowing out the Giants, but narrowly defeating the other two teams. They’ll definitely be riding their defense, but having Ben Roethlisberger back has been huge for Pittsburgh and he’s been solid, throwing for 777 yards, seven touchdowns and one interception through three games.

With the Ravens and Browns hot on their heels both at 3-1, the Steelers need to make every game count. They’re a playoff-caliber team, but don’t have much room for error if they want to win the AFC North.

Good defenses win championships and the Steelers might have the best defense in the entire league, so as long as this defense continues to roll, Pittsburgh is a team to watch out for.
