Week 5 DFS Tight End Advice

Tight end this week to me is pretty simple. If you want a top guy, it should be George Kittle at $7,100. Even though Kelce and Andrews are great, they are not going to turn 15 targets into 15 receptions and 183 yards, which is what Kittle did last week and is something I want on my team.

If you don’t want to spend up, I recommend skipping over the middle-priced players and going with Evan Engram ($5,500), who should be heavily targeted in a shootout, or Dalton Schultz ($5,300), who is the TE8 on the year but is being priced as a scrub.

Week 5 DFS D/ST Advice

I am an advocate of punting your defense unless you have picked all your other positions and have a lot of cash remaining. This week Arizona ($4,200) gets to play Joe Flacco and the winless Jets, though if you really want to save money, Dallas ($3,500) is extremely undervalued considering they are playing the Giants led by turnover-prone Daniel Jones.

If you have extra money, you can’t go wrong with Los Angeles ($5,000) against Washington but I would recommend upgrading a position player instead.

• WR Amari Cooper – $7,800
• WR Robby Anderson – $6,200

• FLEX James Robinson – $6,600
• D/ST Arizona – $4,200

This lineup offers a solid floor with guys like Elliott and Robinson, but also offers high upside with its WR2 and WR3, with Anderson and Slayton being cheaper options with a good chance to put up a WR1 week. Considering the lineup is built around the Cowboys offense, you have the chance to capitalize on what should be a high-scoring matchup in Dallas.
