Bold predictions for the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football against the Seahawks.

Entering a new week of the 2020 NFL season, the Minnesota Vikings are looking to build a winning streak for the first time of the new year. In Week 4 last Sunday, Minnesota was able to secure the first victory of the season and it will aim to continue that trend against a tough NFC opponent on the national stage in Week 5.

On Sunday Night Football this weekend, the Vikings battle against the Seattle Seahawks on the road in Seattle in a showdown between two NFC squads.

Coming into the game, Minnesota is currently sitting at 1-3 overall on the year, tied with the Detroit Lions (1-3) for third place in the NFC North while remaining behind the Chicago Bears (3-1) and Green Bay Packers (4-0) atop the division standings.

The Vikings are coming off of a 31-23 win over the Houston Texans in Week 4 in Houston, avoiding extending their losing streak to begin the year while grabbing a nice road victory. In the game, Minnesota got off to a nice 17-6 lead in the opening half and held off the Texans late in the contest to secure the win and move Houston down to 0-4.

On the other side of the field on Sunday, the Vikings face a Seahawks team that is one of the top teams in the NFL through four weeks, riding a record of 4-0 to sit at the top of both the NFC West and NFC standings.

In Week 4, Seattle defeated the Miami Dolphins 31-23 on the road in Miami, extending its winning streak to four in a row already in 2020. In the win, the Seahawks rode a 17-9 lead going into halftime and outscored the Dolphins 14-11 in the fourth quarter to pull away late and secure the victory.

On Sunday Night Football in Week 5, Minnesota looks to continue its winning ways while handing Seattle its first loss of the 2020 campaign. Before that game begins, let’s dive into three bold predictions that will occur for the Vikings in Week 5.
