45. . . Previous: 25th. Denver Broncos. 26. team

Things are a little tricky now for the Denver Broncos. They were originally supposed to play the New England Patriots this weekend but after a third positive test for the Pats, the league stepped in and moved the game. Now, their Week 5 game will move to Week 6, which makes things interesting since the Broncos were supposed to play Miami in Week 6.

Now, the game between the Broncos and Dolphins will move to Week 11, which was supposed to be Miami’s bye week. Week 8 was supposed to be the week off for Denver, but now they will play the Chargers.

It’s a lot of shuffling and for the Broncos, it might not be ideal. And it’s unfortunate since it was nothing they could have controlled. And if we are being honest, they really don’t need any curveballs thrown their way. After the first quarter of the season, the Broncos are sitting at 1-3 and they’ve been forced to turn to third-string quarterback Brett Rypien.

Following a solid finish to the 2019 season, it was expected that this team would be one to watch in the AFC. However, they’ve taken a step in the wrong direction and this latest shakeup could cause them even more issues going forward.
