After the Minnesota Vikings battled the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football in Week 5, here are some studs and duds from the Vikings in the game.

The Minnesota Vikings came into Week 5 on the national stage riding high off of their first win of the 2020 NFL season last weekend against the Houston Texans.

In Week 5 on Sunday Night Football, Minnesota would have a tough test early on in the year while facing a solid Seattle Seahawks team on their home field in Seattle.

Minnesota put itself in a spot to win the game on the road early on behind a strong first half, but Seattle answered back and completed a late comeback to get yet another win with a final score of 27-26.

In the game, the Vikings jumped out to a nice start in the first half, grabbing a 7-0 lead through one quarter while taking a 13-0 lead into halftime at CenturyLink Field.

In the second half, the Seahawks exploded to put together a comeback right out of halftime. Seattle tallied 21 points in the third quarter along to take the first lead of the game before Minnesota answered back to take the lead late in the final quarter. The Seahawks, of course, eventually went on to pull away late to get the victory.

With the win, Seattle improved to an undefeated record of 5-0 to remain as one of a handful of teams in the NFL to not lose a game through five weeks. In the loss, Minnesota drops another late game to fall to 1-4 overall and to the bottom of the NFC North and near the bottom of the NFC standings.

The Vikings will return home in Week 6 to take on a struggling Atlanta Falcons squad at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The Seahawks will have their bye week in Week 6 before getting back to action in Week 7 when they hit the road to play the Arizona Cardinals in Arizona.

Now with the Sunday Night Football contest between Minnesota and Seattle over, here are some studs and duds from the purple and gold in the nationally televised contest.
