1. Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs just spent a first-round pick on running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire and though he has been solid so far on the ground and through the air, they could definitely use another back in the mix.

Damien Williams would have been the backup running back but chose to sit out the season due to COVID-19, so Darwin Thompson and Darrel Williams are the current No. 2 and 3 backs.

That gives the Chiefs one of the weaker running back groups in the AFC and is one of the rare positions on their team that could use some improvement. Adding Bell to an offense with Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce almost seems unfair and it would give Andy Reid yet another weapon to experiment with.

Reid is masterful at drawing up screens and if the back on the receiving end is Le’Veon Bell and not Darrel Williams, that could make all the difference for Kansas City. The Chiefs also have the added benefit of being the defending champions and being perhaps the best team in the league so Bell could be wooed to sign with a true contender.
