Bold predictions for the Chicago Bears against the Panthers in Week 6 on 10 days rest.

It’s time to get back on the roller coaster that is Chicago Bears football. After a 10-day break, we start to go through the ups and downs of every game. The Bears certainly haven’t made us relax in any game.

After a huge win last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Bears go on the road to face the Carolina Panthers. The Panthers have had their own ups and downs, winning their last three games after losing their first two games.

Looking at this matchup, there shouldn’t be many ups and downs. This being the Bears, however, I’m sure it’ll be another close game and we’ll need our heart medications.

This is another big game for the Bears. At 4-1, they have an 85 percent chance of making the playoffs. If they win this week, those odds move up to 90 percent. Of course, they still have to play the games on the schedule and there’s that pesky 10-15 percent chance of falling off the cliff.

After facing two top-ten defenses in consecutive weeks, the Bears offense faces a defense that ranks 13th. Also, the Panthers rank 29th in third-down conversions allowed and 22nd in red zone touchdown percentage.

Bears quarterback Nick Foles is trying to form a rapport with his receivers after being thrown into the fire in Week 3 and having no offseason to work with his new teammates. After a slow start in Week 4 and early in Week 5, he started to complete big plays to help the Bears beat the Bucs. Playing against this Carolina defense should allow him to get the ball to his receivers and make some more big plays.

This should be a fun game (hopefully) to watch and we may get to see what head coach Matt Nagy’s offense should look like. For now, here are some bold predictions for the game.
