Bold predictions for the Minnesota Vikings in Week 6 vs. the Falcons.

The bad news for the Minnesota Vikings so far in the 2020 NFL season is that they are off to a disappointing start to the year while coming off of a tough loss in Week 5 at the hands of one of the top teams in the NFL. The good news for Minnesota is that its bye week is on the horizon and it will face an even more struggling squad in Week 6 before that bye week arrives.

Going into the new week having lost four of five games to kick off the 2020 campaign, the Vikings will return home to US Bank Stadium to welcome in the winless Atlanta Falcons into Minneapolis this Sunday.

Atlanta and Minnesota will battle it out on Sunday afternoon in Minnesota in what could be an entertaining matchup between two teams who are both trying to get back into the win column in the sixth week of the regular season schedule.

The Vikings come into the game at 1-4 overall, coming off of a heartbreaking 27-26 last-second loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 5 in Seattle.

In that loss last weekend on the road, Minnesota had a strong first half while jumping out to a large lead, only to give up that lead right out of halftime when Seattle rattled off 21 unanswered points. After the Vikings took a late lead and had the chance to put the game away with less than a few minutes left, the Seahawks marched down the entire field and scored a late touchdown with 15 seconds remaining to take the game.

The Falcons enter Sunday’s contest in Minnesota with a winless record of 0-5 overall, which resulted in the team firing their head coach and general manager this week.

Atlanta is coming off of a 23-16 loss to the Carolina Panthers in Week 5 last Sunday in Atlanta, falling at home for the third time of the year while extending its losing streak to five straight.

With both teams looking to get a much-needed win in Week 6, let’s preview the matchup between the Vikings and Falcons and pick out three predictions that will occur for Minnesota on Sunday.
