Miami Dolphins. Jaylen Waddle. 13. player. 59. . WR

After adding an offensive tackle, the Dolphins now need to get Tua Tagovailoa some more weapons. Preston Williams and DeVante Parker are nice pieces but the receiving corps still needs some more juice. And Alabama’s Jaylen Waddle has juice by the gallons.

Waddle stepped into a bigger offensive role this season for the Crimson Tide and has been virtually unstoppable. His speed is near impossible to guard but he has plenty of nuance to his game. Throw in his ability as a returner and this is a no-brainer pick for Miami as they reunite Tua and Waddle.

42. . CB. San Francisco 49ers. Caleb Farley. 14. player

Injuries have absolutely ravaged the 49ers early in the 2020 season on both sides of the ball. But amid those injuries, the lingering concerns about the San Francisco secondary have been exposed. That’s why they rush to take Caleb Farley from Virginia Tech. Farley was the first college football player to opt-out of the 2020 season but his blend of size and ball skills on tape make him good enough to be a top-20 lock, evidenced by him going No. 14 in this 2021 NFL mock draft.

player. 123. . CB. Dallas Cowboys. Tyson Campbell. 15

All of the talk about the Dallas Cowboys right now hinges on the Dak Prescott injury and rightfully so. Not only was it horrific but it sinks most chances of this team turning it around completely after a disappointing start.

Regardless of the quarterback situation, though, the Cowboys defense is a train wreck right now and the secondary needs a player like Georgia’s Tyson Campbell. After dealing with injuries and inconsistency earlier in his career, the Bulldogs corner has been a star in 2020 thus far. He’ll be tested against Alabama but he has the heigh-length-speed combo to be a true No. 1 corner for Dallas.

. EDGE. Indianapolis Colts. Quincy Roche. 16. player. 46

The Philip Rivers experiment has not been going all that well for the Indianapolis Colts this season. Subsequently, quarterback is a consideration for Indy at this point. With limited options, though, they instead move to keep improving the defense, particularly on the edge.

Quincy Roche transferred to Miami from Temple this season and has thrived. He was shut down a bit against Clemson but has popped up in every other game this season. He’s lean and will need to bulk up a bit but the pass-rusher has the speed and skills off the edge to be successful in the NFL.
