player. 52. . TE. Jacksonville Jaguars. Pat Freiermuth. 25

(Pick via Rams) – It’s hard not to be at least a bit intrigued by some of the weapons in the Jaguars offense right now as D.J. Chark has proven himself while rookies Laviska Shenault Jr. and James Robinson have flashed this year. Tight end is a weakness, however, so they take Pat Freiermuth at No. 25 in this 2021 NFL mock draft. The Penn State product is a dangerous big-bodied pass-catcher but has requisite skills as a blocker to be a quality inline player.

Christian Barmore. 26. player. 35. . IDL. Tennessee Titans

Jeffery Simmons has missed some time due to COVID-19 for the Titans but he figures to be the replacement for Jurrell Casey, who the team shipped off early in the offseason. That leaves Tennessee needing more pop in the trenches, though, which is where Christian Barmore can help the cause.

Barmore is a penetrator by nature with the explosiveness and power to generate a pass-rush up the gut. Pairing him with Simmons would give Tennessee a dynamic duo to control the action on the interior.

Pittsburgh Steelers. Mac Jones. 27. player. 55. . QB

Mac Jones will be tested more than he has been by anyone when he faces Georgia in Week 7 of the college football season. But what the Alabama quarterback has shown to this point has been phenomenal. His deep ball is one of the best in the country and he’s been accurate to all parts of the field as well. The Steelers need to groom an heir to Ben Roethlisberger and Jones has the makings of a player who could fill that void.

Baltimore Ravens. Rashod Bateman. 28. player. 26. . WR

Though the Baltimore Ravens are 4-1 to start the season, the offense hasn’t been as dynamic as many had hoped. And while Hollywood Brown is developing nicely, more pass-catchers are needed in the offense. Rashod Bateman would give Lamar Jackson another type of weapon with the size and speed to be a threat at every level of the field and make the Ravens even more dynamic on that side of the ball.
