2021 NFL Mock Draft: Steelers bank on Mac Jones, Dolphins land Jaylen Waddle
Yes, it does look as if the Bills could use defensive help but injuries may have more to do with that than anything else. Having said that, the offensive line has been inconsistent to this point. Daniel Faalele is a player you can’t miss given his 400-pound frame. But the Minnesota product moves well given his size and could be a stalwart on the edge to help further Josh Allen’s development.
(Pick via Seahawks) – After landing Trevor Lawrence with the first overall pick, the Jets are in critical need to get their quarterback some serious weapons. Using the first-rounder acquired in the Jamal Adams trade, they get another LSU product in Terrace Marshall Jr.
A former 5-star recruit, Marshall has been a beast in the Tigers offense with Ja’Marr Chase opting out. He has size, speed and great hands to make for a dynamic young playmaker in the New York offense.
For as potent as the Chiefs offense can be, their offensive line has struggled at times this season. In particular, the interior of the offensive line has proven both thin in troublesome. While Laurent Duvernay-Tardif should return in 2021 after opting out this year, they still need reinforcements. Trey Smith is a mauler who has struggled with health issues. If he gets a clean bill, though, he can be a force in Kansas City.
Throughout their respective careers, Eric Stokes has been the more consistent performer among Georgia cornerbacks in comparison to Campbell, who went before him in this 2021 NFL mock draft. Stokes lacks the same physical upside but his skills at the position are undeniable.
Jaire Alexander has become a shutdown corner for the Packers but they need more quality young depth around him, especially with Kevin King’s up-and-down play. Stokes should be able to provide that.
