If the Washington Football Team truly is done with Dwayne Haskins, where could he be traded to?

It isn’t looking good for Dwayne Haskins to be a contributing member of the Washington Football Team past this season and Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports even wrote that it’s very possible he’s traded at the deadline this season. Haskins was the No. 15 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft and has started in just 11 games while appearing in 13 total.

In those 13 games, Haskins has thrown for 2,403 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He was benched this season after just four starts where he threw for 939 yards, four touchdowns, and three interceptions. Kyle Allen and Alex Smith moved up the depth chart as a result.

It’s surprising to see an organization move on from a first-round pick so quickly, but La Canfora’s article mentions that Washington didn’t really want to draft Haskins in the first place because they didn’t think he was a fit in their system.

Ron Rivera took over as the head coach this year and has literally no ties to Haskins, but he most certainly does to Allen, who played for him in Carolina. Will that affect the quarterback situation in the nation’s capital moving forward? Perhaps — but it does seem as if Haskins isn’t the long-term fit for the Washington Football Team.

If Haskins does get shipped off to another team, who are some possible suitors for his services? Let’s take a look.
