The Green Bay Packers take their perfect record on the road to Tampa Bay in Week 6.

There were people expecting the Green Bay Packers to take a big step back after going 13-3 last season. But through their first four games and coming out of the bye week, Aaron Rodgers is playing like an MVP candidate and the team looks like the best in the NFL to this point. Now, they go on the road in Week 6 looking to further that point.

Green Bay heads to Raymond James Stadium on Sunday to take on Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While the legendary quarterback hasn’t totally hit his stride yet, the Bucs are still dangerous on all levels, especially with the weapons they have to work with. And anytime you can get two all-time great quarterbacks matching up, it’s worth watching.

Can Green Bay continue their run as one of the league’s best? Let’s figure that out as we make five bold predictions for the Packers in their high-profile Week 6 matchup with Tampa Bay.

Bold predictions for the Green Bay Packers in Week 6 vs. the Buccaneers

5. Adams returns with a 100-yard, 1+ TD game

Perhaps the most remarkable thing about what the Green Bay Packers have done over their 4-0 start is the fact that they’ve been able to do it with Davante Adams and Allen Lazard missing time from an already-depleted wide receiver corps. But Adams should return in this game on Sunday in Week 6.

For as good as the Bucs defense has been, Adams is one of the best wide receivers in the league, a matchup-proof player. That will prove to be the case in Tampa as Rodgers will welcome his favorite target back with a monster game.

4. Smith racks up another two sacks

After coming to Green Bay as one of the prized free-agent signings last season, Za’Darius Smith isn’t letting them down. He was a monster last year and already has five sacks and seven tackles for loss in 2020, both of which are best on the team. It’s no secret that Donovan Smith and the Buccaneers offensive line has had some issues this season and Smith won’t be the recipe for those problems stopping. He’ll come in and keep pushing his sack total higher with a big game.

3. Rodgers throws for 300+ again with another 3+ TDs

As mentioned, Aaron Rodgers has been playing at an MVP level this season. He has 1,214 yards with 13 touchdowns and no scores while completing 70.5 percent of his throws over four games. He’s been phenomenal.

Tampa might be the best defense he’s faced to this point, though — or at least close to it. But with Carlton Davis at less than 100 percent, Rodgers is going to keep up his pace. With Adams back and the Bucs run defense slowing Aaron Jones down, the future Hall-of-Fame quarterback will throw for another 300-yard game (his third of the year) with at least three scores and still remaining without a pick.

2. Alexander notches a pick-six off Brady

With the way that Brady has been facing pressure and, perhaps just as importantly, has been dealing with some injuries to his elite weapons on the offense. As a result, he’s been a bit more turnover and mistake-prone than we’re used to seeing from him. Meanwhile, Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander has been one of the best in the league at his position to this point. With that matchup, the Green Bay standout will not only get an interception but will take it to the house.

1. Packers win by 14+ points

The line for this game has vacillated between two points in either direction throughout the week. And even though this game is at Raymond James Stadium, that just doesn’t seem right.

While Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers have looked like one of the best teams in the NFL, the Bucs have not consistently found their footing with Brady at the helm. This feels like a statement game in the making for the Pack and, when they win by two touchdowns, it will end up being that way.
