Bold predictions for the New England Patriots in Week 7 against the 49ers.

For the first time of the 2020 NFL season, the New England Patriots come into the week having lost two games in a row while sitting below the .500 mark on the new year. On Sunday evening in Week 7, the Patriots will aim to put that short losing streak to an end when they remain at home in Foxborough while welcoming in an NFC squad riding high off of a victory in Week 6.

New England will play host to the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday at Gillette Stadium, a late-afternoon game that will be aired on CBS.

The Patriots come into the game with a record of 2-3 overall, falling under .500 for the first time of the season. New England is also going into the contest with a two-game losing streak while losing three of its last four.

In Week 6, the Patriots fell at home in a contest against the Denver Broncos, which ended up as a final score of 18-12 in favor of the Broncos.

In that game, New England couldn’t really get much going offensively and couldn’t rely on its defense enough to pull out the win while getting some key players back on both sides of the ball after a COVID-19 outbreak on the team.

On the other side of the field on Sunday, San Francisco enters the game at 3-3 overall, coming off of an impressive 24-16 win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 6.

In that game, the 49ers jumped out to a large lead in the first half against the Rams, carrying a 21-7 advantage into halftime, and was able to coast to a win at home to secure their first home victory of the 2020 campaign.

While New England looks to end its losing streak and San Francisco tries to continue its winning ways in Week 7, let’s dive into three bold predictions that will ultimately take place for the Patriots on Sunday evening in Foxborough.
