Tampa Bay Buccaneers bold predictions in Week 7 against the Raiders.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are coming off perhaps their best win of the season and now the team is tasked with a trip to Las Vegas to play the Raiders. The Buccaneers are a perfect 3-0 at home but are just 1-2 on the road this season. Combine this with the recent COVID-19 issues surrounding the Raiders and the team will have to focus on the upcoming game.

Coming off of a dominating win against the previously unbeaten Green Bay Packers, it would be easy to see the Buccaneers suffer a letdown in this week’s game against the Raiders. Since the team is trying to get things going, I do not anticipate this being an issue this week. If the game is played, I expect the Bucs to be focused and ready to go.

Furthermore, the team is starting to get healthy again with players who have missed games all practicing and seemingly ready to play. The team has already had Chris Godwin return to the offense and it now looks like Leonard Fournette will return as well. If Fournette is available, the Buccaneers would have the closest thing to a full complement of offensive weapons that they will have for the rest of the season.

Defensively, the team is coming off of its best game of the season when you consider their opponent and how they looked coming into the game. The defense was the first this season to shut down Aaron Rodgers and the Packers and is now ranked first in the NFL. They have an interesting matchup against the Raiders and should perform well this week.

There is the issue of COVID-19 possibly limiting this game or causing a postponement or cancellation. If the game is played, it should be a good week for the Buccaneers.
