Three bold predictions for Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington in Week 7

Last week was an absolute disaster for the Dallas Cowboys. They were hoping that Andy Dalton would pay off for them as they were going into Monday Night Football against the Arizona Cardinals without their star quarterback — Dak Prescott.

Prescott suffered a broken ankle the week prior and Dalton came in and led them on a game-winning drive over the New York Giants, which had him entering Week 6 with a lot of momentum. However, that momentum ended quickly as the Cowboys were abysmal on offense without Prescott.

Not all of the struggles were on Dalton since he didn’t get any help. Ezekiel Elliott lost two fumbles and the offensive line lost Zack Martin which was a huge blow considering they were already without their top-three offensive tackles. On top of that, they weren’t any better on defense.

As has been the case all season, they were unable to stop a nose bleed and the only reason the Cardinals didn’t drop 80 points on them was that Kyler Murray was off his game. Despite his inability to hit wide-open receivers with ease, Murray led his club to a 38-10 over Dallas.

Now, the Cowboys move onto Week 7 with a matchup against the Washington Football Team. At one point, this seemed like a game Dallas should have had in the bag but that’s not the case any longer. Dallas no longer seems decidedly better than Washington and the biggest concern is the defensive line. Washington’s pass rush is their strength and the Cowboys offensive tackles haven’t been good — at all.

With all that being said, we look ahead to the game and make three bold predictions for Dallas as they look to get this season back on track.
