FanDuel NFL picks, Week 7: Best DFS fantasy football lineup
FanDuel NFL picks and lineup advice for Week 7 DFS fantasy football.
Whether your main fantasy football team is out of playoff contention or your favorite NFL team is on bye, FanDuel DFS fantasy football is a great way to enjoy football every Sunday with the chance to make some extra cash as well.
Week 7 sees the Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings and Indianapolis Colts on bye. Players from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Las Vegas Raiders will also not be included in the main slate, despite being moved from the Sunday Night game slot. Compared to Week 6 where we saw multiple fantasy powerhouses on bye, there should be plenty of high-end options and salary savers at every position this week.
When talking about players I will reference the salaries and salary cap of a typical FanDuel tournament. I will also show a complete tournament lineup, which consists of nine positions: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, DEF. The players referenced will all be from the main Sunday game slate.
Without further ado, here are FanDuel NFL DFS picks for Week 7 of the 2020 season.
FanDuel NFL Week 7 Picks and Advice: Quarterback
All the top quarterbacks with the exception of Lamar Jackson are back on the menu here in Week 7. You really can not go wrong with any of Patrick Mahomes ($9,000), Josh Allen ($8,800) and Russell Wilson ($8,700) as they are all elite-level quarterbacks with great matchups.
However, my favorite high-end quarterback value is easily Kyler Murray ($8,400), who gets to face a terrible Seattle defense and finished as a top-five QB despite only completing nine passes in Week 6. This combination of matchup and rushing upside gives him the best chance to finish as the QB1 on the week.
There are also plenty of cheaper values this week as well. Justin Herbert ($7,500) and Matthew Stafford ($7,300) are both talented quarterbacks with great matchups who have big-play upside, as they both can throw a great deep ball. If you are looking for an even cheaper play, look no further than Teddy Bridgewater ($6,800), who was playing quality football before running into the Bears defense last week.
As for quarterbacks I’m fading, Drew Brees ($7,700) and Cam Newton ($7,600) do not offer enough upside to justify their price points. With it looking likely that Brees will be without Michael Thomas another week and Carolina actually being a formidable defense, I would much rather have Stafford for $400 less.
Newton is interesting, as he finished as the QB11 in Week 6 despite having a passing line of 157-0-2. However, until New England can figure it out on offense I do not foresee him putting up any monster games.
