The best NFL Week 7 games for fans to tune into and watch on Sunday.

We finally had a week in the NFL go off without a multitude of COVID-19 complications. Of course, that doesn’t mean there wasn’t room for a few surprises throughout the league. Whether it was the Broncos knocking off the Patriots in a game in which they didn’t score a single touchdown or the Arizona Cardinals taking the Dallas Cowboys to the woodshed, there were some shockers.

But now that NFL Week 7 doesn’t look as if it’s going to have any outright postponements, can we expect more chaos throughout the league? Or will a return to normalcy mean more normalcy in the results throughout Sunday and Monday?

We’ll have to wait and see. However, if you’re trying to figure out which games to watch on Sunday in NFL Week 7, these are your five best options throughout the day.

5. San Francisco 49ers vs. New England Patriots

While the 49ers and Patriots haven’t had the seasons (or rosters) many expected, two of the best coaches in the NFL will face off with Kyle Shanahan and Bill Belichick going toe-to-toe in this game on Sunday.

San Francisco entered the year with the only real difference on the roster being Emmanuel Sanders’ departure and trading away DeForest Buckner. However, injuries have wreaked havoc on the roster once play again. The likes of Nick Bosa, Jimmy Garoppolo, Deebo Samuel, Raheem Mostert and many more have all missed time this year to varying degrees. Yet they’ve still managed a 3-3 start.

As for Belichick and New England, their roster started changing before the first kickoff of the 2020 season. With players opting out due to concerns over COVID-19, you could make the argument that no team was hit harder than the Patriots. Most notably, key defenders such as Patrick Chung and Dont’a Hightower opted out for the year. But with Cam Newton taking over, the team has still flashed high-quality play, even if they’ve only gotten out of the gate with a 2-3 record.

Despite the up-and-down play both teams have shown to this point and the issues they’ve had to navigate through, they are both possibly playoff teams. When you factor that into the coaching matchup, this should be a fun one to watch on Sunday.
