23. team. 45. . . Previous: 22nd. Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos are still looking for their first home win of the season as they were knocked off at Mile High Stadium by a score of 43-16 at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs. What was frustrating for them about this loss was the fact that they seemed to finally turn a corner.

Denver lost their first three games of the season, falling to the Tennessee Titans, Pittsburgh Steelers, and then the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Then, they found some rhythm as they won against the New York Jets and New England Patriots in back-to-back weeks.

Of course, no one really expected Denver to come out and take it to the Chiefs but the fact that they were blown out so easily is really concerning. This club entered the 2020 season with hopes for a Wild Card spot but the slow start could spell an end to that already.

If they are going to salvage this season, they do at least have a stretch of winnable games on the schedule. Next up is the Los Angeles Chargers followed by the Atlanta Falcons, Las Vegas Raiders, and Miami Dolphins. None of these are guaranteed wins and can go either way, but Denver should have a chance in each of these contests.
