Las Vegas Raiders. 16. team. 28. . . Previous: 15th

Earlier this season, the Las Vegas Raiders upset the Kansas City Chiefs. Jon Gruden and his team scored a big win by a score of 40-32. Then they got a week off to prepare for Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers — which happened to be Gruden’s old team. And as he faced the franchise he once won a Super Bowl with, Gruden had to watch as his team was picked apart by Tom Brady.

The veteran quarterback had 369 yards passing with four touchdowns and no picks. For good measure, Brady ran in a score as well in the 45-20 win for Tampa Bay. After the game, the head coach put a lot of the blame on his defense, but said that he believes they will get better.

"“We have to play better, obviously on defense,” Gruden said after the loss via Austin Boyd of Heavy.com. “We got better players, we gotta play better and we will.”"

Las Vegas has struggled mightily this season on defense as they have now allowed 30-or more points in five of their six games. Las Vegas is still 3-3 and could be in the mix for a Wild Card spot this season but they need to get things cleaned up on defense.
