Play on Monday Night Football vs. the Chicago Bears

The Los Angeles Rams are off to a 4-2 start and they are coming off a frustrating loss last week against the San Francisco 49ers. That was a Sunday Night Football contest that saw the 49ers really make life hard on Jared Goff and the Rams offense.

Los Angeles finished the game with just 16 points, and nearly didn’t even have that much. The 49ers were up 21-6 at the half and 21-9 in the final quarter. They again scored in the fourth, making it 24-9 with just 5:26 left to play.

To their credit, the Rams didn’t give up. They scored quickly after that one to make in a 24-16 game, giving them a shot. However, they never could get the ball back as the 49ers ran off the final 3:24 seconds, thanks in large part to a Deebo Samuel first-down conversion.

It was just the second loss on the season for the Rams who are back in prime time in Week 7, this time to host the Chicago Bears. The 5-1 Bears come into this game surrendering less than 20 points per contest and it wouldn’t be surprising at all to see this one turn into another low-scoring, close contest. This one could have implications down the road since both teams seem to be on the path to a Wild Card spot.
