Things almost got really bad for the Buffalo Bills. After back-to-back losses to the Tennessee Titans and Kansas City Chiefs, the Bills were trying to get back on track against the New York Jets. But instead of an easy win, they fell behind early and struggled mightily on offense.

Brandon Croce of BuffaLowDown broke down how their offense struggled and failed to punch the ball in when they did get close, which led to six field goals from their young kicker.

"“The offense struggled to move the ball as Josh Allen forced throws and even had a fumble that the Jets turned into a La’Mical Perine touchdown. However, after that touchdown, it was all Buffalo Bills as they were able to move the ball almost at will until they got to the red zone. This resulted in six field goals made by rookie Tyler Bass, which was enough as the defense was able to tighten up and slow a Jets offense that welcomed back Sam Darnold, who missed the past two games.” — Croce, BuffaLowDown"

In the end, the Bills won 18-10 and while a win is a win, they can’t feel great about struggling against the winless Jets. They’ll need to get things straightened out before their next game against the New England Patriots.
