Kansas City Chiefs bold predictions for Week 8 against the winless Jets.

At first glance, the Week 8 matchup between the defending champion Kansas City Chiefs and the winless New York Jets looks like a complete mismatch. In addition, there is an extra flavor greater than the Kansas City BBQ that is added to this matchup.

RB LeVeon Bell will be going up against the team that invested heavily in him a couple of seasons ago and there is no question that it will be the headline in the local papers and NFL media circles. Furthermore, with the Jets looking to acquire multiple draft picks to build for the future, it’s highly likely that they won’t resist much.

The Chiefs are poised for another run to a Lombardi trophy without having to wait another five decades for it. The Jets meanwhile, are poised to make a run for the No. 1 overall pick which could be Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence, provided he decides to come out this year rather than return to school for his senior season.

The game will be played in Kansas City which means that Bell will likely have his own intro where his former teammates can watch him make a grand entrance. In addition, despite a loss to the Raiders at home earlier this year, Kansas City tends to play well in their home stadium.

All that aside, here are the bold (maybe not so bold) predictions for the Kansas City Chiefs against the New York Jets.
