New England Patriots: 3 Bold predictions for Week 8 vs. Bills
1. New England gets handed its fourth straight loss
Going into Week 8, the Patriots are desperately looking for a win to get the season back on track and get out of a streak where they have been struggling while nearing the midway point in the regular season.
Unfortunately for New England, it won’t be able to accomplish that on Sunday afternoon in a road contest against Buffalo at Bills Stadium.
The Patriots will end up falling to the talented Bills squad to keep Buffalo atop the AFC East standings and in the driver’s seat to claim the division. As a result, New England will drop to a disappointing record of 2-5 overall on the year while falling for the fourth straight contest.
The good news for the Patriots is that they have a favorable matchup in Week 9 to try and turn things around before it’s too late when they remain on the road to battle the winless and awful New York Jets on Monday Night Football in New York.
However, the schedule gets back to being tough for New England right after that, including hosting the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10. The Patriots still have games against the Arizona Cardinals (Week 12), Los Angeles Chargers (Week 13), Los Angeles Rams (Week 14) and Buffalo (Week 16) left remaining on the schedule.
Things aren’t looking very positive for the Patriots, and they could get even worse beyond the Week 8 game against the Bills.
