TE. 21. player. 52. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Florida. Kyle Pitts

(Pick via Los Angeles Rams): This is the second first-round pick the Jacksonville Jaguars gained from the Los Angeles Rams in the trade for Jalen Ramsey and they use it to add one of the better offensive playmakers in the country, Kyle Pitts.

The athletic tight end has been great this season, gaining 274 yards and scoring seven touchdowns in just three games. His presence will open up the offense and pairing him with Justin Fields — who was taken at No. 2 in this mock — could finally give the Jaguars a respectable offense.

TE. Penn State. player. Pick Analysis. Pat Freiermuth. 22. 32. Scouting Report

Like the Jaguars before them, the Arizona Cardinals elect to go with a tight end here. They would love to land someone like Pitts but are just one pick too late. But that doesn’t mean Pat Freiermuth is a consolation prize. The 6-5, 258-pound junior is a red zone nightmare who had 15 touchdowns in his first two seasons. He will surely help Kyler Murray and the Arizona offense take their next step forward.

23. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. WR. Ohio State. Chris Olave. 15

Chris Olave broke out in 2019 with 840 yards and 12 touchdowns and was expected to be a star this season for Ohio State. Unfortunately, he was injured in their first game but still showed out with 104 yards off six receptions.

The New Orleans Saints have an affinity for Ohio State players and they snatch him up here. The hope is that he can pair with Michael Thomas but with how the rumor mill is heating up with suggestions he could be gone, that might not be the case.

player. 16. Scouting Report. Caleb Farley. Virginia Tech. 24. Pick Analysis. CB

Tre’Davious White has asserted himself as one of the best defensive backs in the NFL and is one of the leaders of the Buffalo Bills defense. Here, they get Caleb Farley who is capable of starting across from White, which makes this secondary flat-out scary to deal with.
