BYU. Zach Wilson. Pick Analysis. player. 57. Scouting Report. QB. 25

Mitch Trubisky clearly isn’t the guy, which is why Nick Foles beat him out. Foles is only elite when playing against Tom Brady. That means the Chicago Bears need to move on and find themselves someone they can truly trust under center. Enter Zach Wilson, who has simply been lights-out in 2020.

In the first six games of the season, Wilson is already knocking on the door of 2,000 yards and has a 16-to-1 touchdown-to-interception ratio. He might not be a consensus first-round pick but his position helps boost his stock — because as the Bears know all too well, a good quarterback is hard to find.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. EDGE. Pitt. Patrick Jones II. 26. player. 48

Tom Brady has the Tampa Bay Buccaneers playing well right now and they’re contenders in the NFC — just like we all expected them to be when they landed the future Hall of Famer. What’s been more surprising is how strong the defense has been under Todd Bowles.

Here, they get even better as he’s able to put Patrick Jones II from Pitt on his defensive line. The redshirt senior recorded 8.5 sacks in 2019 and added another seven through the first seven games this year.

Pick Analysis. 27. player. Scouting Report. Penn State. Jayson Oweh. 35. EDGE

Jayson Oweh is an incredible talent who is very, very athletic but also very, very raw. The redshirt sophomore has length to spare and would be an excellent fit in the Tennessee Titans 3-4 defense as a stand-up pass rusher. The only question is whether or not he starts to put it all together and leaps up too far for a team such as the Titans to grab.

Alabama. Pick Analysis. DT. 26. Scouting Report. Christian Barmore. 28. player

It seems as if the Baltimore Ravens shifted from a defensive powerhouse to an offensive one, but that’s not the case. Instead, the addition of Lamar Jackson under center just made them deadly on both sides of the ball. Here, they get even stronger on defense as they add Christian Barmore, the Alabama defensive tackle who might not start right away for them, but will eventually be a starter — and a good one.
