1. Green Bay Packers win by 30+ points over the 49ers

Frankly, it’s just hard to imagine how this game ends up being close. Yes, both teams are on a short week and have some key players out due to COVID-19. But the Packers are vastly healthier across the board, even with players not on the field for this game. And with the way they’ve been playing this season, that spells bad news for the 49ers.

San Francisco is just too banged up to compete with a Green Bay team that should also be more than motivated to prove themselves in this game. Yes, they ran all over the Packers defense last season and the Green Bay defense hasn’t improved in that regard. But the Niners are also deep in their running back depth chart and are without their starting left tackle.

Moreover, the 49ers defense isn’t the unit that it was a season ago, largely due to injuries but also departures. Green Bay got suffocated by the Niners rushing attack last season largely because they couldn’t get any offensive momentum. That won’t be the case on Thursday. In fact, the Packers are in the position to control the game this time around.

Green Bay is going to put its foot on the gas right from kickoff on Thursday and not relent until the game is completely out of reach. Everyone on the Packers steps up and avenges what happened in both meetings from last season with a 30-point win.
