Atlanta Falcons: 3 Bold predictions for Week 9 vs. Broncos
1. Atlanta will edge Denver in Week 9
The final prediction that will take place this weekend for the Falcons is that they will continue their winning ways while edging the AFC opponent at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
The game could very well be a high-scoring affair led by Ryan and the talented Atlanta offense, and the struggles the Falcons continue to have on defense could mean that it will be a shootout by the end of the contest.
With the win, Atlanta will improve to 3-6 overall on the year and will have won the second game in a row for its first winning streak of the 2020 campaign. Along with that, the Falcons will win their third game in the last four weeks while finally be able to get into the win column at home for the first time this season, going into the game with a winless record of 0-4 on their home field so far in the regular season.
The tough news for Atlanta is that its schedule will get pretty tough moving forward in the next few weeks and basically for the remainder of the regular season. The Falcons will play the likes of the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers twice, also taking on the Las Vegas Raiders, Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs to round out the final seven weeks of play.
Things haven’t looked too great for Atlanta to start the year although it will be experiencing a nice mid-season stretch here capped by a Week 9 narrow victory over Denver. But things will go back to being awfully tough for the Falcons to conclude the season.
