4. Elgton Jenkins, OL

The Packers offensive line wouldn’t be the same without Elgton Jenkins. Normally the starter at left guard, Jenkins has played all along the offensive line this season due to injuries to other players. It hasn’t mattered when Jenkins lines up, he simply gets the job done.

Against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 9, Jenkins started the game at left guard. He eventually moved to left tackle in the second half due to an injury to Rick Wagner. On the final offensive series for the Packers, Jenkins moved to center with the second-team offense.

Even more impressive is the fact that Jenkins has only given up one sack through eight games and 539 snaps played. It’s the only sack he’s given up in his entire career. With how much he’s been shuffled around this season, you’d think Jenkins would have given up far more due to a lack of reps at each position.

It hasn’t mattered, though. At this point, it’s probably fair to say that Jenkins could play any position on the offensive line – and do it well. Jenkins is an invaluable piece to Green Bay’s offense, and he deserves more praise than he gets. It won’t be shocking to see him get paid a second contract sooner rather than later.
