player. 52. . TE. Jacksonville Jaguars. Kyle Pitts. 21

(Pick via Rams) – Once again, without a quarterback being taken early, the Jaguars need to keep looking at the players they can select to lay a foundation. And what’s a better weapon for a young quarterback — whenever that comes around — than an elite tight end that creates a matchup problem whenever he’s on the field? That’s what Florida’s Kyle Pitts does with every snap, showcasing size, athleticism and polish that make him a first-round lock.

player. 32. . EDGE. Arizona Cardinals. Kwity Paye. 22

There’s a lot of projection when it comes to the draft stock of Michigan’s Kwity Paye. Coming into the year, we needed to see him capitalize on his physical tools. Especially against Minnesota, he did exactly that — now it’s about doing it consistently. Regardless, the Cardinals can take a chance on that to finally get an edge rusher who can pair with Chandler Jones as they’ve lacked a consistent presence in the trenches outside of their currently lonely sack artist.

Terrace Marshall Jr.. 23. player. 46. . WR. Indianapolis Colts

Not only has T.Y. Hilton consistently struggled to stay on the field for the Indianapolis Colts over the past few seasons but the rest of the wide receiver corps has either also been hurt or hasn’t proven themselves. The Colts need help there which is where Terrace Marshall Jr. comes in.

The LSU product has shined amid the team’s struggles this season. He was third-fiddle last year but, as the No.1 option now, he’s been unstoppable. His blend of size and athleticism should combine nicely with young Michael Pittman Jr. to give Indy a great duo.

. IOL. Baltimore Ravens. Wyatt Davis. 24. player. 26

Lamar Jackson has taken a lot of heat for the Baltimore Ravens offense taking a step back this season. While he’s had his issues, the less-discussed issue is the loss of Marshal Yanda on the offensive line, which has really affected that group in an overwhelmingly negative way. That’s why Wyatt Davis is the clear pick here as the Ohio State product has a nasty streak ideally suited for the Ravens’ run-heavy approach.
