Jaycee Horn. 25. player. 15. . CB. New Orleans Saints

If there was another quarterback prospect with even the possibility to be taken in Round 1, I would give them to the Saints. But since there’s not, they turn their attention to the defense with South Carolina’s Jaycee Horn.

The son of former Saint Joe Horn, the Gamecock is a physical press cornerback who has thrived in the 2020 season to help him shoot up draft boards. Pairing him with Marshon Lattimore in New Orleans would give the team a legitimate high-end duo in the secondary that they’ve needed.

35. . EDGE. Tennessee Titans. Joseph Ossai. 26. player

Signing Jadeveon Clowney just prior to the start of the season signals that the Tennessee Titans need some help off the edge. Harold Landry is coming around nicely but he needs long-term help. While Texas’ defense has been an abomination overall, edge-rusher Joseph Ossai has been a bright spot. Explosive and with a high-motor, the Longhorn could come in and give the Titans either a No. 2 opposite Landry or great depth for as long as Clowney is in tow.

Green Bay Packers. Rashod Bateman. 27. player. 49. . WR

Aaron Rodgers is on a revenge tour with the Green Bay Packers right now, showing he’s not done just yet. He has 24 touchdowns and two interceptions through just eight games this season — and that’s with a wide receiver corps that was an issue last year and wasn’t addressed.

They address it here, however, with Minnesota’s Rashod Bateman. With the ability to get open at all levels of the field and with the size to win in contested-catch situations, Bateman could be a great complement to Davante Adams, finally giving Rodgers a No. 2 option that’s reliable.

16. . CB. Buffalo Bills. Asante Samuel Jr.. 28. player

This feels like beating a dead horse with how many times I’ve said it but the Buffalo Bills have their true No. 1 shutdown cornerback in Tre’Davious White. But the depth around him does leave some to be desired, especially in the slot. That’s where Asante Samuel Jr. from Florida State could come in. He’s a gambler and needs to hone that in when he gets to the NFL but his instincts and movement skills make him a real asset that the Bills could certainly use.
