FanDuel NFL picks and lineup advice for Week 10 DFS fantasy football.

Welcome back to another week of FanDuel DFS advice. After a down week of scoring in Week 8, we saw a return to the norm in Week 9 with fantasy football. However, it was still a terrible week for running backs, as James Robinson was the RB3 on the week with only 15.9 FanDuel fantasy points. Luckily, Josh Allen and Dalvin Cook, two players I highlighted and had in almost every lineup, finished as the QB2 and RB1 and were enough to cash in most formats.

Looking ahead to Week 10, the Kansas City Chiefs, New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons and Dallas Cowboys. In addition, the Baltimore Ravens, Chicago Bears, New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings are not in the main slate, so their players will not be covered in this article. This means that a lot of cash game locks like Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, Dalvin Cook, Calvin Ridley and Julio Jones are all unavailable on the FanDuel main slate and you’ll have to dig a little deeper this week.

When talking about players I will reference the salaries and salary cap of a typical FanDuel tournament. I will also show a complete lineup, which consists of nine positions: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, DEF. The players referenced will all be from the main Sunday game slate. Note that your individual strategy should change based on the type of formats you enter, and I will reference strong plays in cash and tournament formats.

Without further ado, here are FanDuel NFL DFS picks for Week 10 of the 2020 season!

FanDuel NFL Week 10 Picks and Advice: Quarterbacks

With the exception of Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes, most of the top quarterbacks are available this week. This week more than ever, I think that there are not too many values among the cheaper quarterbacks, so you may want to make room in your salary for one of the top options.

Russell Wilson ($8,900) is the highest priced QB on the slate, though Los Angeles has been a top-three defense against the pass. I think a lot of may see the red colored matchup and his terrible game last week and ignore the 55.5 over-under, making him a strong play in tournaments.

However, in a cash lineup, I would feel much more comfortable with Aaron Rodgers ($8,400) and Deshaun Watson ($8,300), who both look to continue their hot streaks with tasty matchups against Jacksonville and Cleveland, respectively. If you want to go cheaper, Jared Goff ($7400) is a great play in cash formats, as he should provide a high floor and ceiling due to his matchup with Seattle. If you feel like completely punting the position, Tua Tagovailoa ($6,800) is an interesting play against Los Angeles, who seems to constantly end up in shootouts.

As for quarterbacks I am avoiding, Justin Herbert ($8,000) is just a bit too pricy against a strong Miami defense in a game that only projects the Chargers to score 23 points. I would much rather pay up the extra $300 for Watson or save $600 with Goff. I also see no need to play Tom Brady ($7,800), Drew Brees ($7,600) or Carson Wentz ($7,500) as I would much rather have quarterbacks that project to be playing from behind against easier defenses.
