FanDuel NFL picks, Week 10: Best DFS fantasy football lineup
FanDuel NFL Week 10 Picks and Advice: Tight End
With Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, and Hayden Hurst all off the slate, the tight end position is incredibly thin this week. If you want to pay up for a tight end this week, T.J. Hockenson ($6,200) is in a great position without Golladay against a Washington defense that has been giving it up to the tight end.
However, I think that punting is the way to go this week and there are some great options. Austin Hooper ($5,100) should be in line for an increased workload, as this is his first game without OBJ and the tight ends have been producing in his absence. He also has an incredibly favorable matchup against Houston. However, my favorite punt play this week has to be Gerald Everett ($4,500), who has appeared to take the starting role from Tyler Higbee ($5,200) these past few weeks, though his price does not reflect that.
I am not real excited to play any expensive tight end this week, as I think it is more advantageous to spend up at other positions. Guys like Jared Cook ($6,000) and Dallas Goedert ($5,800) have a chance to have a nice game, but I would much rather have the extra thousand dollars to upgrade my quarterback or wide receiver.
FanDuel NFL Week 10 Picks and Advice: D/ST
The Green Bay Packers ($4,800) are the best defense play on the slate ignoring price, but with Jaire Alexander doubtful for Sunday and the fact that they have been a terrible defense for fantasy, I am avoiding them at their expensive price. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($4,200) are priced down due to their recent performance, but they are still an elite defense with a favorable matchup against the Panthers.
My favorite defensive plays this week are the New York Giants ($3,900) against Philadelphia and the Washington Football Team ($3,800) against Detroit. These two games have the lowest over-unders in the whole slate, and both of them have actually been respectable defenses this year.
FanDuel Week 10 DFS Lineup
- QB Kyler Murray – $8,800
- RB Aaron Jones – $8,800
- RB James Conner – $7,600
- WR Robert Woods – $7,200
- WR Tyler Lockett – $7,400
- WR Brandin Cooks – $6,300
- TE Gerald Everett – $4,500
- FLEX Mike Davis – $5,400
- D/ST Washington Football Team – $3,800
This lineup takes advantage of multiple high scoring affairs, and is very invested in the Seattle versus Los Angeles game, with Woods, Lockett, and Everett. This lineup demonstrates the power of Mike Davis and punting the tight end position, as they allow us to pay up for two stud running backs along with a stud quarterback.
This is certainly more of a cash lineup, as with the exception of Lockett and Everett, it carries very minimal risk. If you want to turn it into a better tournament lineup, consider stacking Murray with Christian Kirk or DeAndre Hopkins and bringing it back with Stefon Diggs or John Brown. Regardless of your eventual lineup, best of luck in your Week 10 DFS endeavors!
