DraftKings NFL Week 10 values: Wide Receivers

No one needs to be told to start Davante Adams (GB vs. JAX, $9,000) or DeAndre Hopkins (ARI vs. BUF, $7,700), or DK Metcalf (SEA at LAR, $7,600), the three highest-priced wide receivers on the DraftKings main slate in Week 10. That’s not the hard-hitting advice you came here for, so perhaps you’ll find our advice to pass on Stefon Diggs helpful, in spite of his enticing matchup on paper. For $400 less, you can insert Keenan Allen (LAC at MIA, $7,100) into your lineup, a target hog who won’t be shadowed by All-Pro caliber cornerback Patrick Peterson.

In the next pricing tier ($6,000 to $6,900), we advise investing fairly heavily in Cooper Kupp  (LAR vs. SEA, $6,900) and Robert Woods (LAR vs. SEA, $6,600) as a part of Jared Goff stacks in GPPs. Along similar lines, we love Will Fuller (HOU at CLE, $6,700) and the very reasonably priced Brandin Cooks (HOU at CLE, $5,600) when matched up with DeShaun Watson in tournament stacks.

In cash games, we’re rolling with Terry McLaurin (WAS at DET, $6,800) in a cake matchup, and D.J. Chark, (JAX at GB, $6,200) who gets one by default with Jaire Alexander expected to sit out Week 10. Others in this price range we’re tracking are Travis Fulgham (PHI at NYG, $6,400), Carson Wentz’s favorite target of late, and Tyler Boyd (CIN at PIT, $6,400), whose high floor could be raised even further by garbage time production.

From the value tier ($5,000 to $5,900), we can get behind Jarvis Landry (CLE vs. HOU, $5,900), despite our lingering hip concerns, for two reasons: his target-driven floor, and a very juicy matchup. In addition to Cooks, we also like the lower-priced Christian Kirk (ARI at BUF, $5,700), a post-hype sleeper who’s enjoying the low-key breakout season that most fantasy football analysts expected last season.

We mentioned above that we’re fading Diggs more than most, so we turn our attention to John Brown (BUF at ARI, $5,300), who posted a 8-99-0 line on 11 targets last week. Brown was incredibly consistent last year, and his established rapport with Josh Allen should pay dividends in the desert this weekend.

Best Buy: It feels weird to live in a world in which you can it Michael Thomas (NO vs. SF, $7,400) into a DraftKings lineup for less than $7,500, but hey: this is 2020. Some might call this a trap, but with the San Francisco 49ers defense allowing six passing touchdowns to wide receivers over the past two weeks, that’s a laughable risk we’re willing to take.

Bargain Bin: Rashard Higgins (CLE vs. HOU, $4,600) has either scored or posted a 100-yard game in three of his last four contests. If Baker Mayfield bounces back from a disappointing performance against a beatable Las Vegas Raiders defense, Higgins will be one of the primary reasons why.

Other cheap options we like include Jalen Reagor’s (PHI at NYG, $4,200) ceiling, Danny Amendola’s (DET vs. WAS, $3,900) floor, and Josh Reynolds’ (LAR vs. SEA, $3,500) matchup; the latter has logged 17 targets in his last two contests and faces an abysmal Seahawks secondary.
