DraftKings NFL Monday Night Showdown picks and advice for Vikings vs. Bears.

Given how crazy things were on Sunday in Week 10, it’s understandable if your DraftKings NFL lineup went in the toilet. Or maybe you cashed out on Sunday. In any case, DFS fantasy football players are likely looking at the DraftKings NFL Monday Night Showdown featuring the Vikings vs. Bears matchup in Week 10 to try and make up some ground or make more cash off the NFL.

Despite the fact that Chicago has a better record, Minnesota is favored in this game. However, the over/under total is set at just 44 points. For DraftKings players, that means that making the right picks is incredibly critical as scoring should be at a relative premium. It might also mean taking big swings in GPP formats over potentially swinging wrong in cash games.

Regardless, let’s dive through the possible picks on DraftKings for the NFL Monday Night Showdown in Week 10 between the Vikings and Bears before building a possible lineup.

DraftKings Monday Night Showdown options for the Vikings and Bears in Week 10

Dalvin Cook ($13,600/$20,400) – Cook is far and away the most expensive player in this matchup and he should be. He’s totaled 93.8 points on DraftKings in the last two weeks. While Chicago has a good run defense, you’re handicapping yourself if you don’t have the Vikings back in your lineup.

Allen Robinson ($10,800/$16,200) – Listed as questionable, Robinson is expected to play and continues to put up numbers despite the shaky Bears offense. Minnesota is a tasty matchup for him. But at this price, putting faith in the Chicago offense is a scary proposition.

Kirk Cousins ($10,200/$15,300) – Cousins is always a DFS play that has erratic results, evidenced by four games of 20.8 DraftKings points or more to go with three games of under 15 points. Against the Bears defense, Minnesota will need to throw and the Vikings QB looked solid last week.

Adam Thielen ($10,000/$15,000) – For a player who has just five catches on nine targets with 65 yards in his last two games, Thielen is overpriced at $10,000. If you want to bet on the bounce-back game for the wideout, that’s your decision, not mine.

Nick Foles ($9,800/$14,700) – Foles is the NFL embodiment of an exasperated sigh. There’s the chance that he could replicate his 24.6 DraftKings points from last week. But it’s just as likely that he misses the mark and struggles. He’s too risky for my blood at this price.

Justin Jefferson ($8,600/$12,900) – The rookie from LSU has dipped the past two weeks with just six receptions on eight targets for just 90 yards total. But Jefferson has flashed huge potential and the Bears secondary doesn’t strike much fear.

Jimmy Graham ($7,200/$10,800) – Though not the player he once was, Graham has at least five targets in every game this season and has five touchdowns on the year. Given his consistent role, I like his price as the Bears top target with Robinson at less than 100 percent.

Darnell Mooney ($6,600/$9,900) – Mooney has been impressive in his rookie season as a deep threat in the Chicago passing offense. The problem is that he doesn’t always get the best balls thrown his way, which makes him a tricky play.

Ryan Nall ($6,200/$9,300) – Touches are available in the Bears backfield with David Montgomery ruled out. Nall is a fan-favorite but has just six total touches on the season. I have no idea why his price is this high.

Cordarrelle Patterson ($5,200/$7,800) – Copy + Paste the Nall intro but Patterson could also get plenty of work out of the backfield. Even still, the price is still a bit too much for me to bite, especially with a great value play still on the board at the position.

Anthony Miller ($4,800/$7,200) – Miller has 13 receptions for 132 yards over his last two games but his role has always been inconsistent in Chicago. The value is nice if that keeps up but that’s also hard to bank on.

Kyle Rudolph ($3,400/$5,100) – Irv Smith Jr. is out for this game, which puts Rudolph, who went 4-40 last week, into a bigger role. With his red-zone target share, this is a great value play.

Lamar Miller ($200/$300) – As mentioned with Nall and Patterson, the Bears running back situation is an unknown with Montgomery out. But that they activated Miller and he’s available for the minimum price on DraftKings makes him enticing.

For me, this lineup is all about fading the Bears offense overall while taking big swings. If Jefferson and Cousins can connect while Cook continues his run and if the tight ends are able to catch a touchdown, this could cash quite nicely in GPP contests on DraftKings.
