The Pittsburgh Steelers are still undefeated after a win over the division-rival Bengals.

The Pittsburgh Steelers came into an NFL Week 10 matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals as the league’s only unbeaten team but not without some concerns. After all, the Steelers visited the Cowboys last week and, despite Dallas starting a fourth-string quarterback, narrowly escaped with a win. On Sunday, they needed to send a message.

They succeeded in doing so.

Sunday’s 36-10 win over the Bengals keeps the Steelers undefeated, now at 9-0, as they continue to progress forward with the No. 1 seed in the AFC firmly in their grasp. The Bengals, on the other hand, continue to experience the growing pains of being at the bottom of the division as they drop to 2-6-1 on the year.

Ben Roethlisberger was phenomenal, throwing for 333 yards and four touchdowns. While the running game had their moments, it was the passing attack that thrived as Chase Claypool had two touchdown catches while Diontae Johnson led the team in receiving with 116 yards and a touchdown. Defensively, the team sacked Joe Burrow four times and held the Bengals offense in check.

Eyeing a Super Bowl, the Pittsburgh Steelers answered big questions in Week 10.

Since 1972, no team has gone undefeated for an entire season. That likely will not change. However, the Steelers should be favorites to win it all this year. Their offense is playing with good chemistry and the concept of sharing the wealth has clearly been taken to heart.

Defensively, the hard-nosed tradition in the Steel City is evident time and again. Furthermore, Mike Tomlin has done a good job of keeping his guys focused on the task at hand instead of looking ahead. While they received a scare against Tennessee and Dallas, the wins gave them a lesson in keeping a short-term focus on a game-by-game basis.

There are still multiple weeks left in the season. Right now, if any team is a favorite to win the Super Bowl, Pittsburgh needs to be in the discussion and at the top of the list given their record. And after a dominant showing against the Bengals, there are now fewer reasons to doubt the merits of this team’s quest for a record-setting seventh Super Bowl title.
