Stud: Winning third straight game

With the win over the Bears, the Vikings improved to 3-1 on the season against NFC North opponents and have now won three straight, all of which came against divisional opponents.

As a result of the recent hot streak, Minnesota has erased the brutal 1-5 start to the season and has pushed its way back near the .500 mark on the season at 4-5 overall. Most importantly, the Vikings are now back in the playoff hunt which seemed like an impossible thing just three or four weeks ago.

Minnesota has a long ways to go yet to return to the postseason, but the Vikings are putting together an impressive stretch here as of late.

Dud: Turnovers

Outside of the special teams blunders and a few penalties here and there throughout the game on Monday Night Football, Minnesota also committed a few turnovers during the contest on the road in Chicago that almost let the Bears back into the game by the end of the contest.

Overall, the Vikings turned the ball over twice, once via an interception and once via the fumble. They nearly committed a few more turnovers, recovering one fumble while almost losing a punt recovery due to a fumbled catch that was ultimately recovered by the purple and gold.

Kirk Cousins was credited with the lone interception in the game, which appeared in the first half of the contest. The fumble was on the end of Kyle Rudolph, the first fumble of his career, in the opening half as well that put a halt to a Vikings drive.

Minnesota needs to work on a few different things on its own side of things before Week 12 against Dallas, and the turnovers are just another thing on that list.
