New York Jets (0-9) at Los Angeles Chargers (2-7)

Sunday, November 22, 4:05PM ET

Considering how awful the New York Jets have been this season, was there really any other direction to go with this pick? Realistically, any NFL team can win on any given Sunday. With that said, I don’t see the Jets getting their first win against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 11.

As ugly as their record is, the Chargers are better than most 2-7 clubs. They’ve had too many close losses this season, but continue to stay competitive week in and week out. Justin Herbert has been a revelation, and the Los Angeles defense is doing a great job — at least until the fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, the Jets have been bad for most of the 2020 campaign. Although they’ve had a few competitive outings this season, pitiful quarterback play, inept defense and a non-existent running game have kept this franchise from marking a notch in the win column. That won’t change in Week 11, although it will be close.

These clubs get into a bit of a shootout, but Herbert puts together a game-winning drive in the final minute to put the Chargers ahead. It’s not an overly impressive battle for either team, but that’s what happens when an 0-9 squad meets a 2-7 squad.

Prediction: Chargers win 37-35
