San Francisco 49ers. Christian Darrisaw. 15. player. 42. . OT

Another big riser creeps his way into the top-half of this 2021 NFL mock draft as Christian Darrisaw from Virginia Tech comes off the board with the San Francisco 49ers picking at No. 15. The Hokies standout impressed with his work early in his college career but has taken a massive leap in the 2020 season, improving as a technician to go with a strong punch and an ideal frame to line up on the edge of the line at 6-5, 314 pounds.

Darrisaw would be able to come in and give the Niners some long-term viability at offensive tackle. Trent Williams has been good but he’s clearly an aging veteran, especially after some time off while with Washington. Pairing the Virginia Tech product with Mike McGlinchey should put San Francisco in a great spot at both tackle positions for a long time.

Wyatt Davis. 16. player. 60. . IOL. Minnesota Vikings

It feels like a perpetual need with the Minnesota Vikings on the interior of the offensive line. They’ve tried numerous times to improve in that area but the results continue to be quite disheartening. Subsequently, the Vikings need to once again look for a guard that can help shore up things in front of Dalvin Cook and Kirk Cousins.

Wyatt Davis out of Ohio State is a certified stud that should be able to cure a lot of Minnesota’s woes in this area. The Buckeye is a terror on the interior as he plays with an impressive mean streak and a high motor. Match that with nice physical tools and a powerful push, Davis seems like an ideal fit for the Vikings and what they need to get more seriously back into the playoff mix.
