QB. Chicago Bears. Mac Jones. 17. player. 57.

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before but the Chicago Bears need a quarterback. If it wasn’t already, it became clear by the end of last year that Mitchell Trubisky didn’t have a future in the Windy City, so they traded for Nick Foles. But Foles has performed just as mediocrely as Trubisky since taking over the starting role, leaving the team in dire need of answers.

Some people aren’t as high on Alabama quarterback Mac Jones as I am but that baffles me. While he’s a first-year starter, Jones has continuously checked one box after another. His deep ball is second-to-none in the 2021 NFL Draft class and the rest of his game appears pro-caliber as well. If nothing else, he’s a better option than what the Bears have now — but I maintain he could be a legitimate game-changer in Chicago.

Tennessee Titans. DeVonta Smith. 18. player. 35. . WR

It will be interesting to see what the Tennessee Titans do moving forward with Corey Davis. They declined the former first-rounder’s fifth-year option but he’s having the best season of his career in 2020. They could still re-sign him but, in any case, the Titans could use some more playmakers alongside A.J. Brown in the passing game.

DeVonta Smith would be like a suped-up version of Adam Humphries, which is a compliment. Smith is an extremely gifted route-runner that can attack the middle of the field and stretch defense’s vertically and make plays. He could be an ideal fit in this offense that will open up everything for Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry in this Tennessee offense.
