Stud: Adam Thielen

Over the past few weeks, Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen has stepped up and continued to lead the wide receiving unit in Minnesota. Another bright spot for the Vikings on Sunday evening against America’s Team was Thielen and his performance in leading Minnesota’s second-half comeback at home.

In the game, Thielen finished with team-best marks of five catches and 123 yards receiving, adding two second-half touchdowns that fueled the comeback over the final two quarters. Thielen has continued to be a consistent component of this Vikings offense, but his performance in Week 11 and over the last few weeks has stepped up even more.

Dud: Fumble issues continued

For the last few weeks, the Vikings have had some issues with holding onto the ball and fumbling the ball throughout the course of a few contests. On Sunday afternoon against Dallas, those issues continued, with the Vikings fumbling the ball a few different times over the course of the four quarters.

Overall, Minnesota finished with three fumbles, ending up losing two of those to the Cowboys defense. Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook both ended up turning the ball over, with KJ Osborn also fumbling the ball to only have it end up being recovered by the Vikings.

Minnesota continues to shoot itself in the foot during games, something that needs to be fixed sooner rather than later.
