1. Packers beat Colts by double-digits in statement win

Getting trounced by Tampa Bay in Week 6 and then losing at home to the Vikings two weeks later caused some people to put the Green Bay Packers’ viability into question. Meanwhile, the Colts have been on the rise with Rivers playing well lately and the defense maintaining their status as one of the best units in the league.

While that may be the case, that should make this a game that Green Bay has circled on the schedule. In a high-profile spot, Rodgers and the Pack need to go on the road and make a statement against a good team and good defense that says they are for real this season and have legitimate Super Bowl aspirations.

This matchup, though not a cake-walk, is one that offers them the opportunity to do exactly that. The Packers defense could get beat on the ground but they have the bodies to cause Rivers all kinds of trouble. But the big key is Rodgers and Adams maintaining their connection and thriving. If they attack this Indianapolis secondary, they can have their way and put the Colts in a position they aren’t comfortable playing from.

At the end of the day, even if the Colts are favored at home, the Packers are the better football team. With that simple fact and the motivation of needing to prove themselves, Green Bay is going to make a road statement by knocking off Indianapolis and doing so by a double-digit margin when the 60 minutes is up.
