The Chiefs reclaim No. 1 in new 2020 NFL Power Rankings while the Packers slip.

What a fun week of NFL football. Starting with a fantastic NFC West matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals on Thursday night and going through the Kansas City Chiefs edging out the rival Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday night, it was a wildly entertaining week of football. And our 2020 NFL power rankings have been shaken up at every level.

That conversation starts with the Chiefs. Though the Pittsburgh Steelers remain the only undefeated team in the league and were dominant in Week 11, it’s hard to escape the feeling that they have a downfall coming shortly, even if only minor. But in the case of Kansas City, it feels as if they’re just now hitting their stride.

We’re heading into Week 12 now, which means three Thanksgiving Day games await us after the Monday Night Football matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams. Before we get into all of that, however, we must take stock of the entire league with another iteration of our 2020 NFL power rankings.

It was more of the same on Sunday for the New York Jets on Sunday in Los Angeles against the Chargers and, in the 2020 season, that’s not good news for Gang Green.

Sam Darnold was sidelined due to injury once again, leaving veteran Joe Flacco as the starting quarterback for the Jets. Though he ended the day with 205 yards passing and two touchdowns, much of that came after New York was trailing by multiple scores at halftime and was just trying to get back into the game.

On some level, you have to give this team credit for not giving up against the Bolts. They were down 24-6 at the half and later trailed 31-13 but still managed to fight and claw their way back into the game. They came up short once again and, when you’re now 0-10 on the year, that’s really all that matters.

There’s an inescapable — and probably correct feeling — that a full-scale blow-up and rebuild is coming for the Jets. Considering that they have a viable chance of going 0-16 this season, it’s hard to think that isn’t sorely needed.
