FanDuel NFL picks and lineup advice for the Thanksgiving slate of games.

It is hard to beat watching NFL football on Thanksgiving Day. However, with the two day games having teams with combined records of 13-27, you may not find yourself too inclined to watch the games this year. That is where FanDuel DFS fantasy football comes in. DFS is the perfect way to enjoy these otherwise irrelevant Thanksgiving Day games while making some extra cash on the side.

This slate has players from the Texans, Lions, Football Team, Cowboys, Steelers. and Ravens. I will be referencing the player salaries and salary cap of a typical FanDuel tournament. I will also show a complete lineup, which consists of nine positions: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, DEF.

Without further ado, here are my FanDuel picks for the 2020 Thanksgiving Day slate!

FanDuel NFL Thanksgiving Slate Picks and Advice: Quarterback

With only six real possibilities at quarterback and many subpar options, this is far from the usual at the position. Even though Deshaun Watson ($8,700) is the most expensive option on the slate, it is hard to recommend anyone else.

With the Lions vs Texans game by far having the highest over-under of the slate, Matthew Stafford ($7,200) is a solid option, though he looked affected by his thumb injury and lack of receiving options in Week 11.

I think Alex Smith ($6,700) is the sneaky play of the slate, as I see the game being a close one where he will have to make plays similar to two weeks ago where he threw for 390 yards.

With the lowest over-under of the slate at 44.5, it is hard to recommend either of Lamar Jackson ($8,000) and Ben Roethlisberger ($7,700) outside of a contrarian stack in a tournament. If I had to choose one, I would take Roethlisberger, as I could see the Ravens offense getting super ugly without its two lead backs.
