2. High scoring affair will take place once again

Something we have seen often over the past few years with the Falcons is that they commonly find themselves in a shootout on the offensive side of the ball.

While featuring one of the top offenses in the NFL and one of the worst defenses in the league, that has resulted in Atlanta finding themselves in high-scoring contests in order to simply outscore the opposition rather than stopping them from operating with ease.

Sunday’s game between the Falcons and Raiders consists of two solid offenses, which will result in another high-scoring affair for Atlanta when it takes on Las Vegas at home. The Raiders are averaging 28.6 points per game (eighth-most in the NFL), while the Falcons are averaging 25.2 points per contest (16th-best in the NFL).

Atlanta has the 11th ranked offense in the league, while Las Vegas has the 16th ranked offense in the NFL. The Falcons’ passing game is the third-best in the league, while their run game is ranked 24th. For the Raiders, their passing attack is ranked 20th in the NFL, although their rushing game is ranked seventh.

Both teams also feature rough defenses on the other side of the lines of scrimmage, with Atlanta holding the 29th-ranked defense in the NFL with Las Vegas holding the 22nd-ranked defensive group in the league.

We oftentimes see the Falcons in a shootout with the offense forced to take things over on their end of the field, and that will be the case yet again in Week 12 against the Raiders.
