3. Secondary needs to come up big

Rodgers has a habit of throwing the ball away quickly if a receiver isn’t open. If the pressure gets to him, the Bears’ secondary has to take advantage of some of those throwaways. If they are close to any of them they need to make a play.

Cornerback Kyle Fuller will have his hands full. He’ll be the main guy covering Davante Adams. Adams is everything for Rodgers. His 68 receptions are far and away the most on the team. The next closest receiver has just 32.

It’ll be great to watch two of the best at their position go against each other. If Fuller does a good job of shadowing Adams, the rest of the secondary can do well against the other Packers receivers.

Eddie Jackson always seems to find himself around the ball. That should be the case again this week. He doesn’t have any interceptions this season but that’s because he’s had two of them erased because of penalties. Both of them were pick-sixes as well.

The secondary may have a few chances on Sunday night. They have to make the plays when they’re to be had. The defense has to do whatever it can to help the offense, be it scoring points themselves or giving the offense a short field to work with.
