3. Green Bay Packers defense sacks Trubisky 4 times, forces 3 turnovers

It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen Mitchell Trubisky on the field for the Bears and it’s not hard to see why the team opted for Nick Foles when you look at what the fourth-year quarterback did, despite the team accruing a 3-0 record to start the year under his watch.

In three starts at the beginning of the 2020 season, Trubisky completed a dismal 59.3 percent of his passes for only 560 yards, an average of only 186.3 yards per game. And while he did throw for six touchdowns over that span, he also tossed three interceptions and was sacked seven times as well.

There is most definitely a chance that Trubisky is going to come into this game with a chip on his shoulder. The Foles injury has given him one last chance to prove himself to the Bears, even if it’s too late. Subsequently, he should have plenty of fire lit within him to come out and prove himself. The issue is that the Packers are more than prepared and built to thwart that opportunity.

Whether it’s Za’Darius Smith, Kenny Clark, Jaire Alexander or a number of others, the Packers defense is littered with playmakers on every level. More importantly, they can attack the Bears’ weak points, namely the depth at wide receiver and a weak offensive line. The result will be Green Bay sacking Trubisky at least four times and forcing a handful of turnovers, call it two picks and a fumble, from the quarterback.
