The Green Bay Packers broke several records on Sunday in a dominant win over the Bears.

It was a good night to be a member of the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, as the team routed the Chicago Bears by a final score of 41-25. Aside from the blowout victory, there were some other reasons for celebration, though.

Green Bay notched their 100th win all-time against Chicago, bringing the all-time series to 100-95-6 in the Packers’ favor.

The Packers have now won three straight over their bitter rival. Sunday’s loss dropped the Bears to 5-6 after starting the season 5-1. Green Bay, now 8-3, holds a three-game lead over the Vikings and Bears in the NFC North after Week 12.

It’s weird to think that Green Bay’s historic win wasn’t even the biggest headline, though. During the game, quarterback Aaron Rodgers became the 11th player in NFL history to throw for over 50,000 passing yards. He’s the second-fastest to do so, behind only Ben Roethlisberger. Rodgers finished with 211 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions on 21-of-29 passing. He now has 50,046 passing yards after Sunday.

If that still wasn’t enough of a reason to get excited, there’s this: receiver Davante Adams became the fastest player in Packers franchise history to reach 500 career receptions during the win. Adams officially did so in 95 games, one game faster than the great Sterling Sharpe. Adams finished with six catches for 61 yards and a score.

The Rodgers-to-Adams connection has become the NFL’s best in recent years, only further proven to be true by each player’s milestone night against Chicago. While each broke their own respective record, it allowed for the team to enjoy a collective milestone, too.

The Packers are one of the NFL’s best teams in 2020, so don’t be surprised if the team breaks yet another record by the end of the season. Green Bay could become just the fourth team with five Super Bowl victories with a win on Feb. 7.
