New NFL power Rankings as the Packer win big and the Browns make history
Week 12 was a big one for the Cleveland Browns and that had to do with more than just their play on the field. Sure, they secured their first non-losing season since 2007 by beating the Jacksonville Jaguars to move to 8-3, which was huge. Even bigger though, was what happened on the sidelines.
With tight end coach Drew Petzing out for the game as his wife gave birth to their first child, Cleveland turned to Callie Brownson to coach their tight ends. It was the first time in league history a female was a position coach, and hopefully, it won’t be the last.
As for the rest of the NFL, there were some other teams that scored big wins. The Atlanta Falcons proved they’re not dead yet as they trounced the Las Vegas Raiders and the New Orleans Saints picked on the quarterback-less Denver Broncos. There was also the battle between the past and present as Ton Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
The weekend wrapped up with an NFC North showdown as the Green Bay Packers hosted the Chicago Bears. Green Bay was 3-3 in their past six games and lost to Indianapolis last week, but they made a statement on Thursday Night Football as they embarrassed Chicago. Now, we look at the outcomes from these games and see what it does to our 2020 NFL Power Rankings.

It’s getting to the point where we have to genuinely ask whether or not the New York Jets will get a win this season. Yes, we have heard the question all year long but now, they’re sitting at 0-11 following a 20-3 loss to the Miami Dolphins. And looking ahead on their schedule, there aren’t many games where it appears they would even stand a chance.
Next week, they have the Las Vegas Raiders and while the Raiders were embarrassed by Atlanta this week, they should have no problem with the Jets. Then there are games against the Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams, and Cleveland Browns — meaning they are set to face four-straight teams with winning records and playoff hopes.
The only team left with a losing record is the 5-6 New England Patriots but their win on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals reminded us all they can get it done when they play to their potential. Having said all that, it would probably be a safe bet to assume this team won’t win at all in 2020.
