Previous: 21st. Denver Broncos. 25. team. 45. .

It was really hard not to feel sorry for the Denver Broncos in Week 12. They were forced to play without any of their quarterbacks as they were all on the COVID reserve list. With that happening, the Broncos even asked to use offensive quality control coach Rob Calabrese under center, but the league denied the request.

If we are being honest, it seems odd the league would deny the request given the way this team was facing such an unprecedented situation. Then again, the bigger question is why Denver had to play with no quarterback but teams such as the Ravens got to push their game back. In the end, Denver had to roll with the punches, and practice squad receiver Kendall Hinton was their quarterback.

Hinton didn’t start though, as Denver was in the Wildcat to kick things off, but Hinton did get plenty of snaps under center. He also threw it several times but completed just 1-of-9 passes for 13 yards with two interceptions. It was no shock that New Orleans won easily, even with their quarterback play being less than impressive.

Taysom Hill was just 9-of-16 for 78 yards with an interception but he ran in two touchdowns as did Latavius Murray and the Saints walked away with a 31-3 victory.
